Three Men, Two Minutes, More Than $8,000 Worth of Coats Stolen

How long does it take to steal thousands of dollars worth of coats? 

Mere seconds, according to Lawrence Township Police. Police received a report from Lord & Taylor of three men who allegedly walked into the store's lower level, made a beeline for the coat department, grabbed 12 leather Andrew Mark jackets and ran outside.

The incident happened on Dec. 9 between 4:35 and 4:37 p.m. 

The total value of the coats was $8,250, according to police. 

Store security gave an unsuccessful chase and reported the men got into a red Chrysler.
