Thieves have been targeting Victoria's Secret at the Quaker Bridge Mall, recently, with nearly $4,000 of the store's perfume inventory reported stolen in three separate incidents recently.

Weren't they victims of a huge theft a few months before the mall renovation? I think it's time for this store to get better security.

Greta - I realize there is never any crime committed In Princeton - only in Lville, at least based on your reporting - but your readers there may find this interesting, and useful. http://www.nj.com/mercer/index.ssf/2014/01/robber_swipes_princeton_restaurants_tip_jar_employees_chase_suspect.html#incart_river_default

TPG- Or, it could be that I've been away from the computer for most of the day and only just got the information about the Princeton robbery. Which is now posted, by the way.

I agree with Sanriobaby--this store needs to hire private security for the store. Besides the thefts, as a frequent shopper there I get concerned about what happens if/when they get caught in the act and someone tries to stop them. I can easily see people getting hurt if they happen to be in the way when these thieves try to escape.

@SHSB- You bring up a valid point, a customer/s can really get hurt if the thieves get caught in the act and try to run. This particular VS store is a frequent target for thieves, I don't understand why regional and corporate haven't taken serious action. In other stores, they would have replaced most of the staff and hired MORE security. I guess they are waiting for somebody to really get hurt and sue them before they spend the extra money to hire an extra security guard. This mall is suppose to be more upscale, but with thefts like these happening on a regular basis, it's going to keep some shoppers away.
