A 17-year-old girl from Skillman was charged with shoplifting after she allegedly stole more than $700 in merchandise from Lord & Taylor at the Quaker Bridge Mall.
Lawrence Township Police said the incident happened shortly before 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 22.
According to police, the teen allegedly took shirts, tops and jeans into the dressing room, removed the sensors and put the items into a bag. When she left the store with the merchandise, she was stopped by officers from the store's loss prevention office.

The girl was released to the custody of a parent.
