The accident occurred along the northbound side of Interstate 95 in Lawrence Township Sunday morning.

The driver of a sport utility vehicle amazingly suffered only minor injuries when her vehicle flipped over after colliding with a car on Interstate 95 in Lawrence Township late Sunday morning, Nov. 11.

The accident happened about 10:50 a.m. along the northbound side of I-95, just south of Exit 8A (Princeton Pike). The woman’s SUV had just entered the interstate from Route 206 (Lawrence Road) when it collided with the car, which was already on the interstate and possibly making a lane change at the time, according to emergency officials who were at the scene.

Officials said the SUV flipped over and came to rest back on its wheels. The driver was transported by Lawrence Township ambulance to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, officials said, noting that the driver of the car declined medical care.
