Smoke from Hamilton Truck Fire Drifts into Lawrence

The blaze briefly sent smoke wafting into Lawrence Township before it was extinguished by Hamilton Township firefighters.

Smoke observed near the border between Lawrence Township and Hamilton Township about 1:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, June 8) was generated by a truck fire on Sweet Briar Avenue, near the intersection of Whitehead Road, in Hamilton.

The blaze was quickly extinguished by firefighters from Hamilton Township Fire District 4 (Hamilton and Enterprise fire companies).
