Robbery Reported at CVS Pharmacy on Darrah Lane [Updated]
Lawrence Township police said the robber showed a note in which he threatened he had a gun, however no weapon was ever seen. The crime took place minutes before 9 a.m. Thursday.

The man who stole Oxycodone from a CVS Pharmacy in Lawrence Township this morning (Thursday, June 7) showed a demand note in which he threatened he was armed with a gun, however no weapon was ever seen, township police Detective Sgt. Joseph Amodio said.
The man fled with an undisclosed quantity of pain killers; there were no injuries reported to pharmacy staff or customers.

The robbery took place at the CVS Pharmacy at the corner of Brunswick Pike (Business Route 1) and Darrah Lane East just minutes before 9 a.m. today.
Amodio said the robber showed his note to a pharmacist and then ran out of the store after being given the Oxycodone he had demanded. The man was last seen driving away in a blue minivan, possibly a Dodge Caravan, he said.

The robber was described as a white male between 25 and 30 years old with a thin build about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and weighing about 175 pounds. He possibly had blond hair and was wearing jeans, a sweatshirt and a baseball hat.
Detective Todd Caruso and Officer Hector Nieves are leading the investigation and anyone with information about the crime is asked to call them at (609) 896-1111.

Lawrence Township police are investigating a robbery that took place at the CVS Pharmacy at the corner of Brunswick Pike (Business Route 1) and Darrah Lane East just minutes before 9 a.m. today (Thursday, June 7).
Details are sketchy at this time, as police are still on the scene investigating. But initial reports from police were that a white male showed a demand note to a pharmacist and fled with pain killers.
Police searched the surrounding are for a blue minivan allegedly used as a getaway vehicle by the robber, but that auto has not yet been located.
The CVS was closed immediately after the robbery. Despite the half-dozen police cars in the parking lot, some customers did not realize the pharmacy was closed until they were turned away at the front door by a CVS employee.
