A police officer who was responding to the burglary spotted a suspicious white or Hispanic male wearing a camouflage shirt in the area of Harding Avenue and Princeton Pike. The male started to run upon seeing the officer and fled into the wooded area behind Lawrence Shopping Center, Schenck said.

Unsure if the male was connected to the Stonicker Drive burglary or some other crime, police officers set up a perimeter around the wooded area and called in a police dog to help conduct a search.
