Princeton Police Report Three Thefts, Simple Assault on June 27 and 28

Princeton Police seek unknown actor(s) in each case.

Princeton Police reported three thefts and a simple assault that took place on June 27 and 28.

On June 27, at 11:55 a.m., a victim reported that sometime between June 26 and 27, unknown actor(s) used an unknown object to shatter the right rear window of his 2013 Honda Civic while it was parked on Birch Avenue. No other vehicles in the area were damaged.

On June 27 at 1:11 p.m., a victim reported that unknown actor(s) stole her Movado wrist watch valued at $800 from the women’s locker at the YWCA. The was inadvertently left on a towel hook at the time of the theft.

On June 28, at 8:26 p.m., a victim reported that a white male, 15-17 years of age, 5’7”, thin build, wearing a red T-shirt, tan shorts, black and white brimmed hat, and sandals, stole her Apple I Phone 5S from a table at Albert Hinds Plaza and ran towards the Spring Street Garage.  Police checked the area but were unable to locate the suspect. 

On June 28 at 11:41 p.m., a victim reported fighting with another male outside a restaurant in the first block of Witherspoon Street, after a verbal altercation inside.   The male suspect was described as white, 40 years of age, wearing a button down shirt. The victim suffered a scrape to his forehead, but refused medical treatment.  Police checked the area but was unable to locate the suspect.
