Pickup Truck Stolen from Lawrence Auto Dealership

The theft of the 2004 Ford F250 Harley Davidson edition pickup from the Dick Greenfield dealership was reported to police on Monday.

A used pickup truck that was being sold for $20,999 was stolen from the lot of the Dick Greenfield auto dealership sometime between 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, and 5:40 a.m. on Monday, March 11, according to Lawrence Township police spokesman Lt. Mark Ubry.

Employees reporting for work at the dealership in the 2700 block of Brunswick Pike (Business Route 1) Monday morning found the black 2004 Ford F250 Harley Davidson edition pickup missing and a fence gate damaged, Ubry said, noting that the truck had been left parked near the gate when the business closed for the weekend.

Evidence at the scene suggested the thief backed the truck up against the gate until it broke open and then drove away with the stolen vehicle, he said.
