A Philadelphia woman faces a charge of shoplifting after police allege she stole more than $350 worth of merchandise from Sephora in Lawrence, then returned the items to the Sephora in Cherry Hill in exchange for a gift card.
Shuakeeta Manning, 26, was charged with shoplifting.
The incident began on Oct. 4 shortly before 9 p.m. Sephora security was watching video surveillance from that day when they allegedly saw Manning, accompanied by two other females, conceal several items, totaling $366.
On Oct. 12, an employee from the Sephora store in Cherry Hill notified the Lawrence store that Manning had returned the items in exchange for a gift card. Manning was required to provide her driver's license for the gift card, so police were able to track her down.
A court date is pending.
