'Officer Down' Motorcycle Ride to be Held Tomorrow

The motorcycle ride from Ewing Township to Mount Laurel will raise funds for Officer Down Inc., which assists permanently-disabled law enforcement officers and the families of deceased officers from N.J.

The parking lot of the Main Terminal Building of the Trenton-Mercer Airport in Ewing Township will serve as the registration/kick-off site for the Eighth Annual Officer Down Inc. Motorcycle Run fundraiser tomorrow, Saturday, June 25, starting at 8:30 a.m.

The organization assists permanently-disabled law enforcement officers and the families of deceased officers from New Jersey. The “run” will start at the airport parking lot and end at the Prospector’s Restaurant in Mount Laurel.

“We are pleased to provide the parking lot at Trenton-Mercer Airport to Officer Down Inc.,” Mercer County Executive Brian Hughes said in a news release. “It is the least we can do for this fine organization that provides much needed assistance to those who bravely served – and the families of those who served – the citizens of this state.”
