Multiple Thefts Reported in Lawrence

Items stolen include a $60,000 piece of construction equipment and 22 Apple TVs.

The following thefts were recently reported in Lawrence Township:

  • On Wednesday, Oct. 9 between 12:19 and 12:16 p.m., two Hispanic men allegedly entered Petco and put six bags of dog food in a shopping cart and left without paying. Witnesses said the men left in a 2004 black Infinity. The three bags of Wolf King and three bags of Wolf Cub were estimated to cost $305.94. 
  • On Thursday, Oct 10, there was report of a theft from a vehicle on Mendrey Court the night before. The report said that between 10:10 p.m. the night before and 7:20 a.m. the following morning, a Coach bag and school books were taken from a four-door silver Mazda. The thief/thieves smashed the right front window to gain access to the car. The bag and books were each valued at $300. 
  • On Saturday, Oct. 12 shortly before 5 p.m. a report of three black males who were allegedly stealing items from the store. When store security approached the mean, the left, driving off in a grey vehicle. An investigation revealed that 22 mini Apple TVs were missing, for a total value of $2,200. The men were described as being between 20-26 years old and approximately 6 feet tall.  
  • On Monday, Oct. 14, Hill Environmental Group reported that between Oct. 1 at midnight and Oct. 11 at 9 a.m., someone had removed a Kebelco Excavator valued at $60,000 from Adcon on Black Road. Employees are allowed to borrow the equipment, but none of the company's employees had borrowed this item.
