Many Accidents Reported on Snow-Slick Roads [Video]

Luckily, no serious injuries have been reported, according to Lawrence Township police.

While it’s only amounted to a few inches, the snow that fell this morning (Friday, March 8) – and, as of 10:30 a.m., was still falling in parts of Lawrence Township – certainly made for some treacherous driving conditions on some roads.

Lawrence Township police have responded to multiple accidents involving vehicles sliding off roadways, including one in which a Mercer County Department of Transportation salt truck ended up on its side in a ditch on Carter Road near Tall Timbers Road.

Another accident, reported shortly before 8:30 a.m., involved a car that slid off Lawrenceville-Pennington Road and slammed sideways into a utility pole near the northernmost of the road’s two intersections with Lawrencia Drive.
