Man Who Allegedly Grabbed Coed Appears in Court

Tony Kadyhrob was ordered by a judge to undergo a psychiatric evaluation and was banned from setting foot on any school or college campus in New Jersey.

Tony Kadyhrob – the 68-year-old Lawrence Township man who last week was and ordering her to get into his car, and who was in Ewing – has been banned by a judge from setting foot on any school or college campus in New Jersey and was ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.

Those directives came this morning (Tuesday, April 5) as Kadyhrob, a resident of the 2000 block of Princeton Pike, appeared before Judge Paul Catanese in Lawrence Township municipal court for his initial appearance on the charge on which he was arrested on March 29 – attempted enticing of an adult into a motor vehicle, a third-degree crime.

Should he fail to follow the judge’s orders, Kadyhrob could have his $2,500 bail – of which he posted 10 percent – revoked, according to Lt. Charles Edgar, a spokesman for Lawrence Township police.

Edgar said colleges and universities throughout the state have been alerted to keep an eye out for Kadyhrob as a result of his habit of hanging out on campuses because of his alleged attraction to college-age women.

Since his alleged actions on March 28 on the Rider University, Kadyhrob has become the focus of both regional and national media outlets.

News of his court appearance this morning was a lead story this evening on CBS Channel 2 from New York and ABC Channel 6 from Philadelphia, while his uncanny likeness to the actor Christopher Walken prompted entertainment news website TMZ to pick up the story.
