A 28-year man faces a prohibited weapons charge after Lawrence Township Police say he banged on the door of a business in the 2900 block of Brunswick Pike in the middle of the night and demanded a psychic reading.
Joshua Baker-Cooper of Kingman, Ariz. allegedly went to the door of a psychic reader shortly before 1 a.m. on Jan. 7. He knocked on the door and said he wanted a reading, according to Lawrence Township Police.
The psychic noticed the man was carrying a bow and arrow and called police.
During a search, police found that Baker-Cooper was also carrying a dagger in a metal sheath which is illegal in New Jersey.
Baker-Cooper told police that he walks across the country and carries the weapons for personal protection.
He was released on a summons.
