Lock Your Vehicles! Multiple Thefts Reported in Lawrence

Police advise residents not to leave valuables in the car.

Multiple thefts from vehicles were recently reported to Lawrence Township Police. Police advise residents to lock their vehicles and not to leave valuables in the car. 

  • Sometime between July 22 and July 23, someone allegedly entered a Ford Fusion in the first block of Wexford Drive and stole a Garmin GPS and iPhone charger from the center console. The vehicle was unlocked. 
  • On July 25, a victim reported that his Sony laptop computer was stolen from his front passenger's seat overnight in the 700 block of Bunker Hill Avenue. 
  • Sometime between July 25 and July 26, a victim reported that someone rifled through a BMW's glove compartment on Trafalgar Court and stole an EZ Pass. 
  • On July 27, a victim reported that an Apple tablet in an orange carrying case was stolen from inside a Lexus, which was parked in the 100 block of Johnson Avenue. 
  • On July 29, a victim reported that sometime over the past few days, someone had stolen a red Northface backpack from the backseat of a Honda Fit, which was parked in the 3000 block of Princeton Avenue.
