Lawrence Woman Allegedly Fled Princeton Traffic Stop

Police allege Allison B. Daniels had drug paraphernalia on her when she was arrested at her home on Sycamore Court in Lawrence Township on Jan. 6.

A Lawrence Township woman who allegedly fled a traffic stop initiated by Princeton Borough police on Friday morning (Jan. 6) was arrested at her home a short time later and charged with multiple offenses, authorities said.

Princeton Borough police said they charged Allison B. Daniels, 32, of Sycamore Court in Lawrence, with eluding police, obstructing the administration of law, disorderly conduct and multiple motor vehicle violations.

Lawrence Township police, meanwhile, said they charged Daniels with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Princeton Borough police said an officer stopped the vehicle being driven by Daniels on Route 206 near Ferrand Road about 10 a.m. Friday because the vehicle’s registration had expired.

According to Princeton Borough police, Daniels refused to produce her driver’s license and other documents requested by the officer, then exited her vehicle and charged at the officer’s car while screaming obscenities at him.

When the Princeton Borough officer got out of the patrol car, Daniels allegedly returned to her vehicle and drove south on Route 206 into Lawrence Township, refusing to stop for the officer.

A short time later, Princeton Borough and Lawrence Township police officers caught up with Daniels at her home. She was taken into custody there on the charges from Princeton Borough.

During the arrest, according to Lawrence Township police, she was found to be in possession of a grinder and two pipes of the kind “commonly used to smoke marijuana.”
