Lawrence Police Searching for Missing 13-Year-Old Girl

Najah Jones-Andrew was reported missing by her mother on Monday, June 20. Police believe she ran away from home. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to call Lawrence police.

The Lawrence Township Police Department is asking the public for help locating a missing 13-year-old girl who is believed to have run away from home.

Najah Jones-Andrew was reported missing by her mother on Monday, June 20. She was last seen at Mount’s Motel in the 2900 block of Brunswick Pike (Route 1).

Police said Najah is known to frequent the area of Rutherford Avenue and Stuyvesant Avenue in Trenton, and in the past has used New Jersey Transit’s River Line light rail to travel to the Willingboro area in Burlington County.

The 13-year-old is described as black, with a “dark” complexion, about 5 feet 3 inches tall and 202 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a pair of blue shorts, a pink sweat jacket and pink sneakers.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Najah is urged to call Lawrence Township police at (609) 896-1111.  Detectives David Burns and William Chester are leading the search for the girl.

Update: Lawrence Township Police report that during the late afternoon of June 23, 13-year-old runaway Najah Jones-Andrew returned home safely to her mother.
