Lawrence Police Investigating Brunswick Avenue Groping Incident

A 22-year-old woman claims she was groped while walking home from work.

Lawrence Township Police and the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office are investigating a woman's report of being groped while walking home in the township Friday morning, nj.com reports.

The 22-year-old woman says she was groped on the 1100 block of Brunswick Avenue by a man who was walking in the other direction as she walked home around 5:30 a.m. As the man passed her, walking toward Trenton, he "approached her from the rear and grabbed her behind," according to the report.

She described the man as a 5-foot-tall Hispanic man in his mid-30s, wearing a grey short sleeve shirt, long pants and a gray baseball cap, according to the report. She also said she’d seen him in the area previously.
