Couple Arrested on Prostitution, Promoting Prostitution Charges
The incident happened at the Comfort Inn.
A man and a woman were arrested at the Comfort Inn in Lawrenceville last week after a caller reported that he had been propositioned by a woman at the motel, then threatened by a man after refusing the offer.
When Lawrence Township Police responded on Aug. 14, they found Sudeep Khetani, 28, of Kendall Park and Ariele Watkins, 22, of Philadelphia and determined that Watkins had propositioned the man for sex and Khetani was promoting the prostitution, according to authorities.
Watkins was charged with prostitution. Khetani was charged with promoting prostitution. Both were released on a summons.
