Cops Seeking to ID Man Who Grabbed Woman at Mall

The man, described as being in his 40s, grabbed the buttocks of a 19-year-old Ewing Township woman as she shopped in Pacific Sunwear at Quaker Bridge Mall on Monday, according to Lawrence Township police.

If Lawrence Township police have success identifying and locating him, a man who grabbed a young woman as she shopped at Quaker Bridge Mall earlier this week will be charged with criminal sexual contact.

Police spokesman Lt. Mark Ubry said the crime happened a little before 12:30 p.m. Monday (Oct. 22) after the man followed the 19-year-old Ewing Township woman into Pacific Sunwear at the mall in the 3300 block of Brunswick Pike (Route 1).

As the woman was looking at merchandise inside the store, the man allegedly brushed up against her, grabbed her buttocks and then said “Excuse me,” according to Ubry. The man remained in the store for a time, watching the woman, but then left.

Police officers and mall security guards searched the mall property but were not able to locate the man, who was described as Hispanic, in his 40s, unshaven, about 5 feet 5 or 6 inches tall, wearing blue jeans and a blue shirt with large white letters written across the chest.
