Cops Probe Burglary at Steward's Crossing Complex

Lawrence Township police said maintenance staff at the apartment complex discovered the break-in.

A recent burglary to an apartment in the Steward’s Crossing complex off Bunker Hill Road remains under investigation by Lawrence Township police.

Township police spokesman Lt. Mark Ubry said apartment complex maintenance staff called police at 2:19 p.m. Monday, July 30, after discovering that a window at the rear of the ground-floor apartment on Bramble Court had been forced open.

He said the break-in is believed that have taken place between 10:30 a.m. on July 27 and 2 p.m. on the 30th.

Stolen from the apartment were various pieces of electronic equipment valued at about $3,400, Ubry said.

Officer Mark Harmon and Detective William Chester are investigating.
