Updated: Amber Alert Issued for Boy Missing from West Windsor

The 5-year-old, missing from Meadow Road in West Windsor, is believed to have been taken by his grandfather, according to police.

At 10:54 p.m., West Windsor police issued the following update via a news release:

The West Windsor Police Department and the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office's Child Abduction Response Team are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 5-year-old boy, David Lundy, date of birth May 1, 2007.

David is described as a light-skinned African American boy, approximately 3 feet 4 inches and weighing 55 pounds. David was last seen wearing a white and green shirt and blue cargo shorts. He is further described as having short, sandy hair.

At this time, David’s grandfather, Morris “Tommy” Lundy, age 50, of New York, is believed by the police to have abducted David at approximately 6:30 p.m. The abduction took place in front of 465 Meadow Rd. in West Windsor Township.

Morris “Tommy” Lundy is described as an African American male, 5 feet 10 inches, 180 pounds, long black hair and hazel eyes.

It is believed that Morris Lundy may be heading to New York state.

An Amber Alert has been issued by West Windsor Township police for a 5-year-old boy who was possibly abducted by a man, according to a post on the police department’s website.

The alert, issued about 7 p.m. Friday, advised that the boy was possibly abducted from 465 Meadow Rd. in West Windsor.

The alert described the missing 5-year-old as a light-skinned black male with short hair, about 40 inches tall and weighing 55 pounds, wearing a white and green shirt, and blue cargo shorts.

The boy was last seen walking with the suspect, who was described as a 49-year-old white male wearing jean shorts. A possible suspect vehicle was described as a silver Volvo bearing license plate “V54AMM.”

Anyone with information about the child’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
