3 Hurt in School Bus vs. Private Ambulance Crash

The accident remains under investigation by Lawrence Township police.

Three people were injured in Lawrence Township this afternoon, Monday, Oct. 31, during a collision between a small school bus and an ambulance owned by a private medical transportation company.

There were no children on the bus at the time of the accident, emergency officials said.

The accident occurred about about 1:35 p.m. along the northbound side of Brunswick Pike (Business Route 1) just prior to Texas Avenue.

Officials said the injured included an aide traveling on the Rick Bus Co. bus and two people riding in the Medi-Transport ambulance. None of the injuries was believed to be serious.
