Obituary: Thomas M. Gough, 85

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 9, at 11 a.m. at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, 2560 Pennington Rd., Pennington.



Thomas M. Gough, 85, of Lawrence Township and formerly of Titusville passed away Monday, March 5, at Capital Health Medical Center at Hopewell.

Born in Trenton, he was vice president of Sid Gough and Sons in Trenton. He also was co-owner of Coatings Galore in Yardville for 12 years. He was a member of Mercer #50 Masonic Lodge F&AM where he was a 60+ year member, the Scottish Rite Valley of Central Jersey, Crescent Temple and the Ewing Lions Club, where he was very active.

Son of the late Sydney and Eva Marriott Gough and husband of the late Frances S. Gough, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Deborah Ann and Stephen Jones of Titusville; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas P. and Corrine Gough of Lawrence; a brother and sister-in-law, Sydney “Bud” Gough Jr. and Kathy of Pennsylvania; a sister, Sandra Whitman of Wilmington, N.C.; two grandchildren, Luke A. Ricco and Emily Gough; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 9, at 11 a.m. at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, 2560 Pennington Rd., Pennington, with the Rev. Canon John C. Belmont rector of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Pennington officiating. Entombment will be in the Ewing Church Cemetery Mausoleum.

Friends may call Thursday, March 8, from 6-8 p.m. with Masonic services at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made Deborah Heart and Lung Center, 200 Trenton Rd., Browns Mills, N.J. 08015.
