Obituary: Phillip R. Gaskill, 72

The lifelong resident of Lawrence Township died on Oct. 29.

Phillip R. Gaskill, 72, of Lawrence died Monday, Oct. 29, at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, Trenton.

Born in Trenton he was a lifelong resident of Lawrence Township.

Phillip was first and foremost a friend of Bill W. He was a member of the Bordentown Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. #2085 and was a U.S. Army veteran and as such belonged to the American Legion Post #414 in Lawrence.

Phillip was also a member of the Hamilton YMCA where he volunteered for it's Miracle League and served on the Advisory Council for Active Older Adults. A lover of dogs, he also participated in The Seeing Eye Foundation.

Son of the late Louis and Bettye Gaskill, he is survived by Irene C. Gaskill; his daughters, "The 3 Ds", Darlene and Walter Scott Wilson, Diane and Gil Consuegra, and Deborah and David Wasilewski; and his sister, Sandra Lee Gaskill.

Funeral services for Phillip was held on Thursday, Nov. 1 at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors.
