Obituary: Helen Sylvester, 87

The lifelong area resident will be laid to rest on Friday, Nov. 9.

Helen (Spezio) Sylvester, 87, of Lawrence Township, passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, at home.

Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident.

She loved ballroom dancing, bingo, baking and crochet. Helen belonged to the Lawrence Township Senior Citizens Club #1, and was a member of the Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church in Lawrence.

She worked at Heinemann's Electric for forty years.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Spezio; her parents, Edwin and Estella Clark; her brother, Edwin Clark, Jr.; and her sister, Ruth Dibaczy.

She is survived by her husband, Leroy "Sox" Sylvester; her nephew, Gabby Dibaczy and his wife, Elaine; and her niece, Debbie Evans and her husband, Rich; her three great-nieces; one great-great-nephew; and her special neighbors Bill Plank and John Gladwell.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 9, at 11:30 a.m., at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square. Entombment will follow at Ewing Cemetery Mausoleum in Ewing.

Family and friends may call on Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.
