Obituary: Florence E. Crosby, 87

Funeral services for the life-long area resident will be held Thursday, Aug. 30.

Florence E. Crosby, 87, of Lawrence Township died Saturday, Aug. 25, at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro.

Born in Conshohocken, Pa., she was a life-long area resident. She was a graduate of Mercer County Community College.

She was a member of the Delaware Valley Campers, member of the Trenton YMCA Social Education Club. She was member of the Wally Byam Airstream Club, member of the Square and Round Dancing Club and the World Traveler Grand Circle.

Daughter of the late Walter and Mary Marczak Kateusz, she is survived by her husband, John Ross Crosby; three daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Greg Gehres of Salem, Ore., Janice and William Poinsett of Stockton, N.J., and Beverly and William Harclerode of Asbury, N.J.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Helen and Joseph Jammal of Ohio, and Connie Komuves of Texas; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 30, at 11 a.m. at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, 2560 Pennington Rd., Pennington, N.J.

Entombment will be in Princeton Memorial Park Mausoleum, Robbinsville, N.J.

Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday, Aug. 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
