Obituary: Brian Morris, 42

A former Lawrence Township resident who moved to Ewing 12 years ago, he was a member of Lawrence Township Post 414 Sons of the American Legion.

Brian Morris, 42, of Ewing Township, died Tuesday, Feb. 14, at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center at Hamilton surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Trenton, and a former Lawrence Township resident, he had resided in Ewing for the last 12 years.

He was the former owner and operator of Brian’s Auto Repair in Ewing Township. Brian was a member of Lawrence Township Post 414 Sons of the American Legion and enjoyed tennis, football and cheering for the Oakland Raiders. He loved watching and attending NASCAR races.

Son of the late Richard Morris, he is survived by his mother Lorraine Ponticello Morris, his beloved daughter Ashley Morris, and his loving companion Sarah Krepp. Also surviving are his brothers Kenneth Morris and his wife Michele, Thomas Morris and his wife Tracy, and David Morris and his wife Courtney; his nieces Samantha and Reagan Morris; and nephews Justin and Jack Morris.

The funeral for Brian will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 8:30 a.m. from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Rd., Lawrence Township. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9:30 AM at The Church of St. Ann in Lawrence.

Burial will be in the Ewing Church Cemetery in Ewing Township.

Family and friends may call on Monday, Feb. 20, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
