Obituary: Anne Allen, 96
The Lawrence Township resident died on Feb. 18 and was laid to rest on Feb. 23.
Anne Allen, 96, of Lawrence Township, died Monday, Feb. 18, at Spring Village at Floral Vale in Yardley, Pa.
Born in Ramsey, N.J., she was a long time area resident. Anne was married to the late Dr. David W. Allen and served as pastor’s wife of the Central Baptist Church in Ewing Twp. from 1944 to 1982.
Daughter of the late Bliss and Henrietta Van Den Heuvel, and wife of the late Dr. David W. Allen, Anne is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Allen Brown-Paglione and Anthony Paglione of Morrisville, Pa.; a son and daughter-in-law, Paul D. Allen and Margaret D. Allen of Yardley, Pa.; seven grandchildren, Terri Penner, Timothy Brown, Traci Granger Hartman, Kim Cooper, Kerry McClintock, D. Kent Allen, and Tucker Brown; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Feb. 23 under the direction of Wilson-Apple Funeral Home. Burial took place at Ewing Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Spring Village at Floral Vale, 600 Township Line Rd., Yardley, Pa., 19067 in memory of Anne Allen.
