Obituary: Alexandria 'Stephie' Zimmer, 88

Alexandria “Stephie” Zimmer, 88, of Lawrence Township passed away peacefully at home on Monday, Oct. 15.

Born in Trenton, Stephie was a resident of Lawrence for 55 years.

Daughter of the late John and Veronica Dzbenski, she is survived by her husband, William G. Zimmer Sr.; her sons, William G. Zimmer Jr. and his wife Debbie of Rehoboth Beach, Del., and Michael J. Zimmer of Palm Beach Shores, Fla.; three grandsons, Kyle, Trevor and Zachary Zimmer; three nephews, Richard, Tommy and Ted Franckowiak; and a niece Barbara and her husband John.

Funeral services for Stephie will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20, beginning at 9 a.m. at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Rd., Lawrence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Hedwig Catholic Church, Trenton. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery in Ewing.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, Oct. 19, from 4 to 6 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
