Funeral for Cranbury Pizza Owner to Be Held Wednesday

JoAnn Palma was originally reported missing on Nov. 22 and was found dead in her car on Dec. 5.

JoAnn Palma (Gaudious), 62, of Hightstown died on Dec. 2. She was born and raised in Long Branch. She worked as a hairdresser and was co-owner of Cranbury Pizza. JoAnn was an involved member of the PTA committee at St. Gregory the Great School in Hamilton for many years and was an active member of the Animal Welfare Committee in Hightstown.

JoAnn was predeceased by her parents, Cleo Gloria Etz Gaudoius and Joseph (Bunny) Gaudious. She is survived by her husband, Eddie Palma; her son, Anthony Palma of Savannah, GA; her daughter, Adrianna Alarcon of Summit, NJ; two beloved grandchildren to whom she was "GimGim," Sophia and Chase Alarcon of Summit; one brother, Joseph Gaudious of Long Branch, NJ; and two sisters, Dolores Piazza of Eatontown and Donna Cichalski of Long Branch.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 251 Franklin St., Hightstown, NJ 08520. Calling hours will be held 9 to 11 a.m on Wednesday morning at the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home, 202 Stockton St., Hightstown, NJ 08520. In lieu of flowers, contributions in JoAnn's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
