If you don't care then why are you taking the time to read and comment? Does your life suck that much that you have to bring children down in order to feel good about yourself.

So proud of the Cardinal cheerleaders, training hard since August. Many sacrifices to win this trophy. You are strong and beautiful--inside and out.

Lawrence High Football is 10-0 BTW. Big game against Hopewell on Dec 7. It would be nice to see some details from the patch on that game. Thanks.

Leigh - I care because I am forced to pay property taxes in Lawrence Township, so my hard-earned money pays at least in part for your cheerleading activities. And I do think there are better choices of activities you could have pursued, something that would help you become a doctor, lawyer, or engineer instead. So I'm not putting you down, I am in fact trying to open your eyes to sexist activities that have become institutionalized by our schools. (ie, where are the male cheerleaders in your squad? where are the people of different body types in your squad?)
Leigh December 04, 2013 at 10:37 AM
am Trenton Talker- For your information our team is full of people with different body types, ethnicities, and we have had guys in our program many times before. For you to even bring this up is immature and disgraceful. You are bringing down children who worked just as hard as someone playing football or any other SPORT. For your information our team has exceptional SAT scores and class rankings. Many of our girls are in the National Honors Society and other prestigious programs within the school. More than half of the girls participate in Orchestra, Deca, student government, and Student Leadership. So before you start attacking TEENAGERS and their parents GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!

Sounds like you need a class in how to talk to people who don't think like you... There was no attack, I just happen to think that what you are doing as cheerleaders is demeaning to women.
