Who will be successful in persuading a shark to support their product? Attend the first annual Cardinal Shark Tank Competition on Thursday, April 3 and find out.
Sponsored by Lawrence High School’s Business and International Studies Academy, the competition is from 7-9 PM in the high school auditorium. Space is limited so arrive by 6:45. Tickets are $5 at the door. Half the proceeds will go to benefit
the Academy’s charity partner, Special Olympics of NJ.
Modeled after the popular television show Shark Tank, contestants are aspiring
entrepreneurs who will try to persuade the wealthy sharks to “invest” in the
contestants’ unique products. Both contestants and sharks will be judged by
volunteers from successful businesses including Edison Ventures, Santander Bank, The Explorers Passage, Deloitte & Touche, ETS, and Northwestern Mutual. Local sponsors including Bossio's, Candela's, Leonardo's, Chamber's Walk, Honey Baked Ham, Hoodie Pillows, Lawrenceville Fuel, PC Richards, Olive Garden, Purple Cow, The Perfect Snaque, Varsity's Pizza, and Village Barber Shop who donated prizes for the winners.
