Lawrenceville Main Street "A Night in the Village" Tasting Tour

LMS to Host "A Night in the Village"

Lawrenceville Main Street (LMS) invites the community to sample the cuisine of ten local restaurants at its second annual “Night in the Village” on Sunday, Sept. 22. Two walking tours starting at the LMS office (17 Phillips Ave.) are scheduled for 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Participants should allow approximately three hours for their experience.

The benefit tour of historic downtown Lawrenceville will feature tastings at village restaurants, live local music by Stringzville, and an opportunity to explore The Studio at 8 Gordon Avenue, which houses four talented Lawrenceville artists, Melz Salon, and Wealth Strategies. Each attendee also will receive a goodie bag.

For starters, Cherry Grove Farm will serve up their homemade farmstead
cheese. Returning village favorites Acacia Restaurant, Chamber's Walk Café and Catering, and Vidalia Restaurant, joined this year by Amalfi’s Restaurant, Enzo La Piccola Cucina, Leonardo's II, and Wildflour Bakery/Café, will offer a mix of main course samplings. Purple Cow Ice Cream and Fedora's Café (offsite) will provide the perfect ending to the evening with sweet treats.
