Lawrenceville School Presents Priscilla Snow Algava's "Life Dance: A Retrospective"

The Lawrenceville School's Gruss Center of Visual Arts will present "Life Dance: A Retrospective" by Geraldine Dodge Foundation Artist Fellow award winner Priscilla Snow Algava, on exhibit Feb. 7-28.


All are welcome to attend the exhibition's opening reception in the Center's Marguerite and James Hutchins Gallery on Feb. 7, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.


The Gruss (2500 Main St., Lawrence Township, 609-620-6026) is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Visitors are also welcome on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.


The Center is open to the public, free of charge.

Algava, who received a master's degree from DePauw University in 1981, currently teaches at the West Windsor (N.J.) Arts Center and privately in her studio. 


A teacher for more than three decades, Algava has instructed at DePauw University, Marist College, and high schools in New Jersey and New York. Her art work is represented in many private and public collections in the United States and abroad, including General Electric, Vassar College, and Newark Public Library.
