Brown Bag Series Lecture: David Sarnoff, RCA Laboratories, and the Dawn of the Electronic Age / Presented by Dr. Benjamin Gross

Dr.
Benjamin Gross, the Consulting Scholar and Curator of The College of New
Jersey’s Sarnoff Collection, returns to the campus as a guest lecturer and
expert on the history of technology. In this Brown Bag Series Lecture, Dr.
Gross will discuss the history of David Sarnoff and his contributions to the fields
of communication and electronics in the 20th century. Dr. Gross
holds a B.A. in History from Yale University and a Ph.D. in History of Science
from Princeton University. He is currently a Cain Postdoctoral Fellow at the
Chemical Heritage Foundation in Philadelphia, PA.

This lecture is held in
conjunction with the opening of the David Sarnoff Collection on Wednesday,
October 2nd, 2013 from 12:00PM – 2:00PM in Roscoe West Hall, 2nd
floor.
