AFFORDABLE CARE ACT INFORMATION SESSION
MERCER
HOSTS AFFORDABLE CARE ACT INFORMATION SESSION
TRENTON– In response to
the strong attendance at a recent Affordable Care Act information session
sponsored by Mercer County, County Executive Brian M. Hughes has called for a
repeat.
The Affordable Care Act (ACA),
which took effect this month, requires all Americans by law to have health
insurance. Mercer County’s next Affordable Care Act Seminar, Health
Insurance 101: What You Need to Know About the Affordable Care Act, will be
Tuesday, Jan. 21, from 6 to 7 p.m. at County Connection in Hamilton. Attendees
will be given advice on how to navigate the system, understand the new
healthcare choices, learn how to enroll and understand how the new Act affects
families, small businesses, young adults, early retirees and people who work
for themselves. The information session is free of charge.
“Navigating the Affordable Care
Act process can be confusing for some,” said Hughes. “By offering this seminar,
we hope to shed light on how the ACA can help people who might not otherwise
have health insurance.”
