Snow, Ice to Make Tues. Morning Commute Dangerous

The National Weather Service is calling for 1 to 3 inches of fresh snow to fall on Lawrence Township, followed by periods of sleet and freezing rain tonight and into tomorrow morning.

Snow, sleet and freezing rain will complicate the morning commute tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 18.

Lawrence Township and the rest of the region are under a winter weather advisory that was issued today at 3:14 p.m. by the National Weather Service.

According to the weather service, between 1 and 3 inches of snow will fall, followed by periods of sleet and freezing rain that will possibly create a thin but dangerous layer of “glaze” of roads.
