Mercer County to Hold 9/11 Memorial Service Tuesday

The service will take place at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11, at the Mercer County September 11 Memorial in Mercer County Park, West Windsor Township.

Editor's Note: The following is a news release issued by the Mercer County administration.

Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes will be joined by other county officials to solemnly remember the victims of the terrorist attacks on America on Sept. 11, 2001.

The brief ceremony will be marked by presentation of a floral wreath and a moment of silence and will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012.

The ceremony will be held at the Mercer County September 11 Memorial in Mercer County Park, West Windsor, and the public is welcome to join. The memorial is located by the Marina.

Mercer County’s ceremony will follow a program hosted by Mercer County Community College in its Remembrance Park, adjacent to the Student Center, on the campus of MCCC, located at 1200 Old Trenton Rd., West Windsor.
