Local Man Hurt in Ice Storm Crash in East Windsor

The accident closed Old Trenton Road for three hours Tuesday night.

A Lawrence Township man was injured Tuesday night, Feb. 1, when he lost control of his sport utility vehicle on an icy Old Trenton Road, according to East Windsor Township Police.

Police said they responded to Old Trenton Road south of One Mile Road at 11:51 p.m. in response to a report of an overturned vehicle. Police said they arrived to find Jean Dorante, 37, had lost control and crossed into the northbound lane, hitting a snow bank and rolling his 2002 Nissan Pathfinder onto its side.

A West Windsor Township ambulance crew transported Dorante to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton for back and neck injuries, according to police.
