Lawrence PBA Hosts Autism Fundraiser on Saturday

The members of Lawrence Township Policemen's Benevolent Association Local 119 will host a fundraiser Saturday, Sept. 8, at Captain Paul's Firehouse Dogs to benefit Autism New Jersey.

Lawrence Township Policemen's Benevolent Association Local 119 is again teaming up with to hold its annual fundraiser for Autism New Jersey.

The event will take place from noon to 5 p.m. this Saturday, Sept. 8, at the restaurant at 2230 Princeton Pike. The rain date will be Sept. 15.

Several attractions will be on hand for children to enjoy, including a moon bounce and slide. There will also be several emergency vehicles on display.

PBA Local 119 is donating $1,000 to Autism New Jersey and is covering the costs of all the attractions.

In addition to allowing the use of his property for the event, Paul Tweedly, the retired Trenton firefighter who owns Captain Paul's, will donate 20 percent of all sales during the event to Autism New Jersey.
