Free Rabies Vaccination Clinic to be Held Today
The clinic at Central Park off Eggerts Crossing Road is open to all dogs and cats over the age of 3 months.
Editor's Note: The following is a news release issued by Lawrence Township.
September is cat license renewal month for Lawrence Township residents. Cat licenses are due by Sept. 30, 2011. Any cat over the age of 7 months is required by law to be licensed.
To assist you in this endeavor, the Lawrence Township Health Department will be holding a Free Rabies Vaccination Clinic for all dogs and cats over the age of 3 months:

Date: Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011 - 10 a.m. to 12 noon
Location: Central Park Garage, Eggert Crossing Road, Lawrence Township, New Jersey

Clinic will be held rain or shine.
Please adhere to the following regulations:
- All pets must be accompanied by an adult
- All pets must be leashed or in suitable carriers
- For safety and insurance purposes no children under 7 years of age
Cat licenses are renewed in the Municipal Clerk’s office. Proof of current rabies certification and proof of spaying or neutering (if applicable) must be presented when a license is purchased by mail or in person.
The fee is $11.00 if spayed or neutered and $14.00 if not spayed or neutered. Effective Oct. 15 a delinquent fee will be assessed in the amount of $5.00 plus $1.00 per month for each month delinquent.
