Equestrian Center’s Fall Festival to be Held Oct. 28

The festival will feature fresh apple cider pressing, crafts, a scavenger hunt, hayrides, a scarecrow contest, a Halloween costume contest for horses, and more. The Mercer County Equestrian Center is located at 431 Federal City Rd. in Hopewell.

Looking for a day of free family fun? Then don’t miss the Mercer County Equestrian Center’s Fall Festival.

This year’s Fall Festival will take place on Sunday, Oct. 28, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mercer County Equestrian Center on Federal City Road.

With Halloween right around the corner, kids of all ages can enjoy hayrides, a scarecrow contest and a costume contest for horses. Children are encouraged to show off their Halloween costume at the festival, and all kids dressed in costume will receive a special Halloween treat.

The Fall Festival also features fresh apple cider pressing, crafts, a scavenger hunt and games for kids of all ages.

This year, the festival will also hold a Parade of Breeds horse show, highlighting more than a dozen unique horse breeds.

To enter the scarecrow contest, the horse costume contest, or to show your horse in the Parade of Breeds horse show, please contact the Equestrian Center at (609) 730-9059.

Scarecrows will be made Thursday, Oct. 25, through Saturday, Oct. 27.
