A Reminder About Alexander Road Construction

Workers are doing utility work and reconstructing the road between Canal Pointe Boulevard and Canal Road in West Windsor Township.

Area drivers have no doubt noticed the construction along Alexander Road in West Windsor Township and now there's a 24-hour detour in place through June 29, according to West Windsor officials.

Drivers are being re-routed along Route 1-Washington Road-Faculty Road.

After June 29, there will be partial road lane closures from 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. until the end of the project.

Local homes and business, including Obal Garden Market are still accessible, although there may be times where Canal Road can only be reached from the Princeton side of Alexander Road, requiring drivers to use the detour route to Faculty Road and Alexander Road.

Anyone with questions about the project should contact the West Windsor Township Engineering Division at (609) 799-9396.
