New CEO of American Boychoir to Speak at Chamber Breakfast

The Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce event will be held on Sept. 19 at 7:30 a.m.

Dean Orton, the newly-appointed president and CEO of The American Boychoir School and the Princeton Center for Arts & Education, will speak at the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce’s September breakfast.

The event will be held at the Nassau Club of Princeton on Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 7:30 a.m.

His speaking topic, entitled: “The American Boychoir School: Celebrating 75 years as one of the finest in the world” will share the unique mission of ABS and what this non profit - whose choir is not only recognized as one of New Jersey’s major arts organizations, but also as one of the finest professional boy choirs in the world - has in store for the Princeton Region.

ABS' activities range from local concerts with remarkable national artists, to relocating their campus and reinventing the former 47-acre St. Josephs seminary property. This undertaking, which has been dubbed the "Princeton Center for Arts & Education," will establish the first shared arts and education campus of its kind in the country.
