Editor's Note: The following is a news release issued by the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Dean Orton, the newly-appointed president and CEO of The American Boychoir School and the Princeton Center for Arts & Education, will speak at the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce’s September breakfast.
The event will be held at the Nassau Club of Princeton on Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 7:30 a.m.
His speaking topic, entitled: “The American Boychoir School: Celebrating 75 years as one of the finest in the world” will share the unique mission of ABS and what this non profit - whose choir is not only recognized as one of New Jersey’s major arts organizations, but also as one of the finest professional boy choirs in the world - has in store for the Princeton Region.
ABS' activities range from local concerts with remarkable national artists, to relocating their campus and reinventing the former 47-acre St. Josephs seminary property. This undertaking, which has been dubbed the "Princeton Center for Arts & Education," will establish the first shared arts and education campus of its kind in the country.
How does ABS plan to enhance the quality of life for the community from its investment in this new campus? Come hear the inside story directly from ABS’ new CEO, Dean Orton.
