Engineering Firm Leases Additional Space in Lawrence

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services increases space of office on Lenox Drive from 7,567 to 10,750 square feet.

Editor's Note: The following business news release was issued by real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield Inc.

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services has increased its presence and re-located within its current location at 989 Lenox Drive in Lawrence Township.

In little more than one year, this regional office quickly outgrew its operating space and worked closely with Cushman & Wakefield Inc. and its landlord Brandywine Realty Trust to sign a new lease for 10,750 square feet in the same building.

"Langan liked the location and wanted to work with the landlord to complete the expansion and extension of its lease," said Marc Graham of Cushman & Wakefield's East Rutherford, N.J., office, who teamed with Cushman & Wakefield colleagues Donald Eisen, Lee Miller and John Picco to represent the tenant.

Brandywine Realty Trust was represented in-house by Stephen Jennings.

"Everyone involved in this transaction has good relationships with one another," said Graham. "Langan's strong reputation and continued growth plans, along with Brandywine’s tenant-friendly approach allowed us to orchestrate a favorable result for both parties. Ultimately, it was a very cooperative effort."

Constructed in 1984 and renovated in 2002, Princeton Pike 1 at 989 Lenox Drive consists of 112,055 square feet on three floors. With this transaction, Langan moves into entirely new space within the class A asset.

"The relocation to new space within the same building will allow the tenant to re-optimize their layout and create additional efficiencies," said Graham.
