MOORESTOWN RESIDENT DR. RUTH PERRY TO APPEAR FEB. 25 & 26 ON “ONE-ON-ONE WITH STEVE ADUBATO”

Trenton Health Team Executive Director Dr. Ruth Perry will appear on Emmy Award-winning Public TV anchor, author and motivational speaker Steve Adubato’s show “One-on-One with Steve Adubato” to discuss the social factors that contribute to mental illness, especially in urban areas. The program will air on Tues, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. on NJTV and again on Wed., Feb. 26 at 12:30 a.m. on WNET.

“Celebrating the Past…Creating Our Future” was an event sponsored by PerformCare that took place in New Brunswick in October.  It celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Community Mental Health Act of 1963.  Dr. Perry was one of the health professionals gathered to celebrate and commemorate this groundbreaking law, which was signed by President John F. Kennedy.  It changed the way those with intellectual and developmental disabilities were treated.
