Grant Workshop to be Held for Central New Jersey Arts and Humanities Community

The June 20 event, hosted by U.S. Rep. Rush Holt, is intended to help Central New Jersey arts and humanities organizations apply for public and private grants.

Editor's Note: The following is a news release that was issued by the office of U.S. Rep. Rush Holt (D-Hopewell Township) of New Jersey's 12th Congressional District.

On Monday, June 20, U.S. Rep. Rush Holt (NJ-12) will host a workshop to help Central New Jersey arts and humanities organizations apply for public and private grants.
 
Representatives from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) will present information about arts and humanities funding, grant opportunities, and other issues of interest to arts and humanities production and advocacy groups. 

The workshop will also offer small-group breakout sessions that will afford participants the opportunity to interact directly with NEA and NEH officials.
 
In Congress, Rep. Holt is a member of both the Congressional Arts Caucus and the Congressional Humanities Caucus.
 
The event is free and open to press and the public.
