Lawrenceville Main Street Artists Network 2nd Annual "Art Inspired by Poetry" Reception

Lawrenceville Main Street Artists Network will host its second annual “Art Inspired by Poetry” reception and exhibit on April 9 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Artists Network Gallery, 2683 Main St. in Lawrenceville.

Some 20 local and regional poets submitted more than 25 original poems, and the 27 artists of the Network have selected poems that inspired them. They created their own works that respond to the poems.  At the reception, poets will read their work and both the artwork and poems will be displayed. 

Refreshments and harp music by Cynthia Dixon will accompany the show.  Last year's event was a great success, drawing over 100 people and this year's show promises an exciting and challenging evening. Admission is free.  www.lmsartistsnetwork.com (609) 512-1359
